We had such a great experience with Simon at our wedding. The weather was pretty terrible so he adapted to taking photos inside and waited for a break in the weather to get some outside. Simon was such an amazing photographer to capture our big day. He managed with ease trying to orchestrate a large wedding party including children and animals and the pictures are just great. He is super friendly and relaxed which is welcome on such a big day with a lot of moving parts and even stayed later to capture the start of the dancing as we were running behind in terms of timings on the day. He was also super quick in sharing the final edited pictures and was just a pleasure to work with from scoping out the images we wanted vs capturing elements we didn't see ourselves on the day. Over the past few years my lovely wife Jayneanne has been an amazing assistant photographer, appearing at your bride-prep, helping with the bride when needed, relating to and photographing guests, stopping lighting stands from being knocked over, helping to arrange the groups, sorting the dress, making the kids smile and not too mention taking some amazing shots of her own.
For those on a budget I can of course easily cover a wedding day shoot on my own, like I have been doing for many years. I offer varying package prices whether you want your wedding at the weekend, during the week, full day, half day or even less for registry weddings. Please keep in mind that costs also cover extensive hand editing on your photographs which can be seen as a gallery online as well as a USB. Prints can be purchased through the gallery or you can get them done yourself after getting all the images on a USB.
I’d describe the wedding photography I take for you as stylish and quirky, I definitely employ a think out-of-the-box approach and enjoy a creative yet candid style. This stems from my background in Fashion photography, publicity and the arts. I’m also a fully trained photographer with an HND in Photography (Distinction) which I gained prior to the advent of digital, which I embraced early on.
I promise to capture your wedding day (with a smile) professionally and technically using many of my creative techniques.
